Today we continued working with excel. We looked at how to graph, how to find linear regressions, how to change the axis values, how to calculate mean, standard deviation, and the 'normal interval'. The formulas we used were:
In Spanish In English
Counting the number of numbers: =contar(select all values) =count(select all values)
Finding the mean: =suma(select all values)/number of numbers =sum(select all values)/number of numbers
Finding the Standard Deviation: =desvest.p(select all values) =stdev.p(select all values)
Finding the 'normal' interval: =mean box-standard deviation box , =mean box+standard deviation box
I have sent an excel file by phidas with the work we did.

As I am sick today, here is the work you must do. Please graph each equation IN YOUR NOTEBOOK. Include slope, x-intercept, and y-intercept. In the last two pages please do a graph, find the equation, and write the slope, x-intercept, and y-intercept. I will be checking your notebooks in class tomorrow. You can do 3 lives per graph with different colors. I have also sent the document on Phidas. Check out Extra Practice if you need some help or ask the teacher you have.
